Inviting a cleaning service into your home for the first time is a bigger decision than most companies treat it as. You are handing over keys, routines and the way your house feels when you walk in the door. So here is exactly what happens when you start with us, step by step, with nothing left vague.
Step one: the free home visit
Everything starts with a walkthrough, not a quote form. We come to you, at a time that suits, and walk through the home together. We want to know how you actually live in it: which rooms work hardest, where the dog sleeps, which bathroom the kids use, the surfaces that need particular care.
This is also where pricing gets honest. Rather than guessing over the phone and correcting it later, we scope the home properly and send you a clear proposal with a fixed price per clean. If you want the numbers first, our pricing guide covers what sets the price and what our packages start from.
No pressure comes with the visit. Some people book on the spot, some think about it for a month. Both are fine.
Step two: your personalised plan
From the walkthrough we build your cleaning plan: frequency, focus areas, special instructions and any add-ons like the inside of the oven or fridge. This becomes your personalised checklist, and it is a living document. If something changes at home, one message to your House Manager updates it.
Step three: the benchmark deep clean
Your first clean is not a regular clean. It is a full-home deep clean, and it exists for one reason: to set the benchmark that every future visit maintains.
A regular clean keeps a well-kept house at its standard. It cannot simultaneously drag a house up to that standard, no matter what a cheap quote promises. So we do the heavy lift once, properly: the build-up in the shower tracks, the skirtings and ledges, the corners that quietly collect a year of dust. It is scoped and priced at your home visit, so you know exactly what it involves before anyone lifts a cloth.
From then on, your regular cleaner is maintaining a known standard rather than fighting entropy, which is why the house feels consistently looked after instead of occasionally rescued.
What you need to do before we arrive
Less than you would think:
- Access. Most clients give us secure access instructions and go about their day. We lock up when we leave.
- Pets. Tell us who we will meet and how they feel about vacuum cleaners. Our products are pet and family friendly, and your cleaner will follow whatever routine keeps your animals comfortable.
- Priorities. If there is one thing that matters most to you, say so. The checklist will make sure it never gets missed.
You do not need to clean before the cleaner comes. That is the whole point.
After every visit: the photo report
When the clean is done, your House Manager sends a photo report, so you know exactly how the house was left even if you get home after dark. If something is not right, you message one person, and it gets fixed. That accountability loop is the difference between a cleaning service and a stranger with a mop.
